Languages
The languages Lightwell maps in 0.1.15, and the files each pack reads.
Every language below maps on by default. A solution or project file defines the boundary for C# and VB.NET workspaces; go.mod does the same for Go, package.json and config files for web projects, and Cargo.toml for Rust.
| Language | Files read | Becomes blocks |
|---|---|---|
| Rust | .rs | Crates, targets, modules, and the workspace graph from Cargo metadata. |
| TypeScript & JavaScript | .ts .tsx .mts .cts .js .jsx .mjs .cjs | Modules and outline symbols (functions, types, constants), with imports as connections. |
| Python | .py | Modules and outline symbols. |
| Go | .go | Packages, files, import edges, and top-level functions, methods, and types. |
| C# | .cs .csproj .sln | Namespaces, files, types (including partial types), and methods. Project references, imports, and resolved type names become connections. |
| VB.NET | .vb .vbproj | Namespaces, files, types, and methods, with the same connection rules as C#. |
bin/ and obj/ output folders are skipped for .NET projects. C# and VB.NET type names keep non-ASCII characters, and C# namespaces that open their brace on the next line stay correctly scoped.
