Files & inspector
Browse every file and symbol in the tree, then read the code beside the map.
The file tree
Choose Files in the Modules / Files toggle. Each row shows a kind badge (FILE, APP, MOD, FN, TYPE, CONST, and friends), the name, the last two path segments, and a child count for folders. The toolbar gives you:
- Filter — keep rows whose label or path matches, with their ancestors for context.
- Expand all / Collapse — open every folder, or fold back to the root.
- Zoom — the − / percentage / + buttons (or Ctrl/Cmd with +, −, 0) scale rows between 80% and 180%. The level is saved per workspace.
- Depth — the same per-workspace depth as the map; it also seeds how deep the tree starts expanded.
Select, then open
Clicking a row (or pressing Enter or Space on a focused row) selects it. In the vertical Files view the side panel becomes the Inspector: kind badge, path, child count and depth, child rows, and a breadcrumb back to the root.
For a file or symbol, the Inspector's Open button opens the read-only source view at that block, with its line and column position. From there, Open in editor launches the file in your editor (configure the command in Settings). Folders show their details card instead of source.
Good to know
- Selecting a row scrolls it into view and expands its ancestors, so deep files stay reachable.
- While a commit diff is active, changed rows gain
+n −ncounts. - The row count in the toolbar reads “N of M nodes” for the current filter.
