Privacy policy

This policy describes how Moonbase 2090 LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit getlightwell.app (the “site”). It applies to this marketing site only. The Lightwell desktop application has its own data practices; see the app’s settings and documentation when you install it.

What we collect on this site

• Server and CDN logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process your IP address, request URL, browser type, and similar technical data to deliver the site, mitigate abuse, and operate their network. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Web analytics (if enabled). We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented analytics product. It is designed not to use cookies for tracking and not to fingerprint individual visitors. Our content security policy allows scripts from static.cloudflareinsights.com and connections to cloudflareinsights.com only for this purpose. If analytics are off, those endpoints are not used.

We do not run account sign-up, payment forms, or marketing email capture on this site. Our first-party JavaScript does two things only: main.js handles scroll animations, and downloads.js asks the GitHub releases API (api.github.com) for the current release files so the download links stay correct — your browser makes that request directly to GitHub, which may process your IP address and similar technical data under GitHub’s own privacy policy. Neither script sets advertising cookies.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and improve the site, understand aggregate traffic, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Log and analytics retention follow Cloudflare’s settings and our account configuration. We keep only what we need for operations and security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. California residents can learn more at the California Attorney General’s CCPA page. If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you may have rights under the GDPR; our lawful basis for basic site operation is legitimate interest in running a public website.

Children

The site is aimed at developers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
